Ely and the white wolf ran for an hour and finally caught up with the red dragon. He was on the outskirts of Vinair and ready to travel far. She stood beside him with the wolf nearby adn told Thriin the bad news of Hemmingway's passing. They looked at the mountains of the unknown land and sighed.
That night a small blue fairy appeared and whipered in Ely's ear. She stirred, but remained asleep. The stunning blue fairy then tugged at her ear and Ely opened her brown eyes. The fairy flew to face so she could her. Ely then told the wolf and the dragon to wake and they did.
"Who are you?" Ely asked in the dark.
"I am Christy and I am here to help you find what you are looking for." She smiled.
"And what are we looking for?" Thriin asked.
"What we are all looking for...a place to belong." Christy said glowing and looking not at all tired.

The Hunter and Ely were looking for Thriin. A few miles ahead and they would find Thriin. A few miles behind and they would have found Hemmingway and the white wolf. Ely's bounds finally wore down and she was able to slip away undetected. She hid behind a tree until he was out of sight. She rested on the outskirts of the forest for an hour until she was awoken by the soft growling of a hungry animal. When she opened her eyes she peered into beautiful blue eyes of a white wolf. Hemmingway slid of her back, for him the journey was over.
"You must know each other, I smelt you when I picked him up." The wolf said as Ely stood and picked Hemmingway up, "He stopped breatheing a while ago."
"Hemmingway?" Ely held him in her arms, but he did not move and his once watchful eyes were lifeless and white. She laid her head on his chest, but heard no thumping noise. All she could hear was the sound of her tears slowly falling onto his soft white feathers. Hemmingway had gone to a better place. A place where he could fly forever in the sky.

PART TWO
The red sun's beams peered over the tops of the green trees. Dawn had come and there was no sign of Thriin. He laid there, he's breathing becoming fainter with every passing second. Vibrations on the ground near his head made him open his eyes. A white wolf stood only feet away....waiting. Waiting for Hemmingway to close his eyes forever. The wolf came closer and smelled the bloody owl.
"Hey, I'm still alive."
"Do you think that matters to me?" She asked now nudging him with her paw, "Nothing matters to me anymore."
"Why?"
"What do you care. You're dieing." She said stepped back.
Hemmingway starred at the red and pink sky.
"I lost my hunter. He left me to search for a dragon. I don't believe in dragons."
"I can help you find him, if you take me with you."
"Why?" She asked, "You know where he is?"
"Yes, the dragon you speek of is my friend."
"Well, I suppose I can carry you, but when you die, you're my dinner."
"Deal." Hemmingway said slowly getting up and crawling unto the white wolf's back.

Footsteps in the dead of night were comming fast and without warning.Thriin looked down and saw only two black shadows of what he use to call his friends. He flew into the sky without warning or waking. After he had gone, Ely woke to find a tall black shadow standing above her. She looked to the right and saw the impression of the ground where Thriin once slept.
A rope bound her hands in the front and Hemmingway was left to die a quiet and cold death there on the black forest floor. He lead her through Vinair like a dog on a leash until morning. Ely clapsed onto the Earth and he dragged her. He kept asking where the Dragon was, but she never answered. Ely figured Thriin had deserted them. He left to save himself and now Hemmingway was because of him.
The sun was bright and the trees were thinning. They were nearing the edge of Vinair. Soon they would enter unknown land. Thriin was gone. Hemmingway was gone. She was captured and she was at the Hunter's mercy.

"Thriin!" Ely screamed looking around dessperatly searching for him, "Thriin!"
A path was nearby and Thriin stood wondering where they were and if Hemminway was okay. He heard the bushes near by shake as if they were living creatures. It was after noon and he didn't want to be out in the dark by himself. Ely appeared out of the bushes holding Hemmingway close to her heaving chest. Thriin looked away, almost ashammed that he left them there. Ely looked down the path and then back at Thriin.
"I called for you." She said after a long pause.
"I know." He said looking at his giant claws.
They sat there on the ground for what felt like hours. Hemmingway was laid on the ground and there he slept. What would happen over night, was anyone's guess. The trees turned black and clouds dissapeared. The white sparkels in the sky were visaible in the half's moon light. Ely laid beside Hemmingway and the bloody arrow she removed from his small feathered body. Thriin sat stairing at the sky, as if he were making a deal with them to save a life of a friend.
But something caught his attention. A noise in the woods that scared even the bravest of birds and animals. The woods seemed to inclose and constrict Thriin as he looked around. Was something out there? Was something comming for him? He had to leave. Ely and Hemmingway were still when he got to his feet. Thriin spread his wings, but it was too late.
