yesterday was a great day, i went fishing and filled a stringer up with crappie, after that i kept fishing and caught a lot more crappie but i had enough to feed multiple people so i let the rest of them go. after cleaning the fish i went home and was taking care of our rabbits and 3 hunting dogs. by this time it was well after dark so i couldn't see much and our three hunting dogs were running loose in our back yard. all of a sudden i heard one on my cats hissing and thought he must be sitting on the outside of the fence and the dogs just got to close because that happens all the time. then the dogs started making a lot of noise and running in circles and i knew something was wrong so o started running over there and as i got closer i could see my car in one of the dogs mouths! after that things happened so fast i can't remember exactly what happened but i pinned the dog down that had the cat and started hitting her and pulling on her lower jaw until she dropped the cat. after the cat was free from her grasp the other two dogs took chase while i was struggling to hang on to the third dog so i started yelling at them. the two dogs cornered my frightened and injured cat but luck fully they didn't attack and my mom came running out of the house because she heard all the commotion and between the two of us we were able to get the three dogs back in the pin. as for my cat, he got lucky! a little fur missing and probably some bruises but other than that he seems ok. it is hard to believe that part of a day can go so well and then have an ending like that!

who out there likes to go fishing? because i love to fish and to teach people how to fish! this last summer i brought my grandpa with me to Alaska on a salmon and halibut fishing trip and it was amazing!!! that was my first trip to Alaska and now i am hooked! (lol) while i was there i was talking to the salmon fishing guide that my grandpa and i were staying with and by the end of the week from the info i got from him i decided to try getting a job up there for this coming summer. after about 8 months i found a job that i thought would suit me well so i am all anxious to get on that plain this coming may and go work for Magnum Charters as the deckhand bringing people out fishing and hoping to get them into the fish of a lifetime.

thought i would tell about a trip to OK with one of my friends youth groups. it was great! we went to the largest youth retreat in the USA! and the week we were there they had over 5,000 people at this camp. they had an awesome band named The Swift, basketball courts, sand volley ball courts, gift shop, huge amphitheater, and a 5k race every week that i placed in the top 10 but don't remember what place for sure it was i got in that race but i felt like i ran good so that was all that counts even though i wasn't able to win it. Joe and i were walking around and saw some big catfish in a creek. we had fun playing in a beach volley ball tournament, but there were a lot of teams and we ended up getting knocked out after a few games but it was still fun to sit and watch all the other teams play. oh and it was HOT!!! the guift shop sold little fans and a lot of us bought some because when sitting in the amphitheater with 5,000 other people it would get miserable and there were even some people that passes out from the heat. but all together it was a great trip, lot of fun, one of the girls painted my fingernails and now i can say that i was at the largest youth camp in the united states :)
