You were hanging with some friends in a graveyard drinking, smoking, joking, chilling when I first spotted you. I watched you for a long time, fascinated by the lack of fear you showed on such hallowed ground. This was going to be fun!
Seizing the moment I followed as, answering the call of nature, you walked off into the woods adjoining this sea of souls alone, wobbling slightly due to your intoxication.
Silently stalking you, though it wouldn't have mattered if you had heard me in your state, I wait for you to do what you came to do and begin to head back to the group.
Stepping out from behind a tree I surprise you, making you jump. Realising, as only mortals like you can, what I am you raise your hands to your lips, stifling your own gasp. You'd "believed" in our kind for so long, hoped you'd finally meet one of us, but never truly accepted it as divine truth. And now, here before you I stood, clear as day. Eyes glowing in this almost pitch black night, skin too clear, too smooth to be human, standing so still like a tiger stalking its prey. You follow my gaze as I look behind and to the right of you.
Panic starts to set in as you notice my Master leaning against a tree, barely visible in the moonless, starless sky.
