Oh modest lantern hanging gaily on that branch
Who put you there and why do you doth lie
In perfect content you gape into the sky
And never sway nor swing nor stanch
And there you’ll stay in that spot so blanch
With embers aglow safe and sound without dye
I stare into your soul and you into my
Eyes you linger forever atop that wooden avalanche
Simply sitting and calling and stalling for time
As if to draw me deeper with you to lay
But the reason I love you is simple you see
You are who you are and nothing but rhythm
In my heart and my mind you will stay
Atop the tree of my heart you shall be
Hope you don't think toooo critically of it. I mean, it's not great but I try.

Oh man. I nearly forgot to get you your poem! You should have reminded me I was not sending it to you. I hope you don't mind I'm a bit late. Alright. Now...how do I send it...I'll message it to you maybe? Or, as a comment? I'll leave the comment so that you can copy and paste it. When you are done you can either delete it from the comments or leave it. I really don't mind that much since the poem isn't as good as I may like. I get points for the rhymths though. Some were a bit tough.
