I never knew my parents' families. We were all alone in a strange land. I had no clue how much was missing from my life. Now I am finding my husband's family in FB. They are all I have of "family" and we share some memories of holidays at aunts' and uncles' houses, reunions, babyshowers, weddings, funerals.
It's been fun finding real people I know. From all across USA, as the "cousins" all grew up, had kids, and everyone spread out.
as for any relation in Brittain, none now, never was, never will be. i met some of them in 1971. they held me in contempt for "being different"....just like it is around here as an immigrant.

hi, y'all. i don't spend much time in here any more. when i am online, it is to study and research new ideas and speculations i get re:my condition. in real life, i am perfecting my diet and the balancing act for nutrition as well as excercising to get ready for summer, when allergies will peak with farm work. have lost 20 pounds since last fall, and am about to leave this plateau and go down somemore. i expect to lose another 7 by april 1. at the rate i'm going, i'll have lost about 50 pounds when fall comes around again. hopefully, my diet and excercise will pull me through. if, however, i will only benefit while i am losing, and when i cannot lose anymore it will not benefit (because of not burning off excess toxins), then i will be in trouble. i have a back up plan in place, and am arranging my household so as to accomodate it.
