The thoughtfullness of children...

My son James is 6 years old, very thoughtful of others and loves his grade 1 teacher... he comes out this morning with a stool Sarah (3) uses to use the sink and said ' mum i need to take this to school for miss Collie.' I asked 'why?' and he replied ' so she can put the papers away...' and proceeded to stand on the stool and mime putting papers on a shelf... yes miss Collie is vertically challenged but my son was not saying that he just wanted to help! hehe

no wonder they all laughed! she did mean on the corner of an aisle but the way she came out with it had them all in stitches. the poor girl we had to explain why everyone laughed and she has not said it again.
