OK, so ive been working at this law firm since end of Aug 2007 (sorry, had the year wrong up till now). I'm one of two IT staff members (excluding our manager) and im spesifically the web developer. Mandla, my co-worker, is the technical go-to.

Anyway. So the end of my 3 month probation period, i had a meeting with the HR manager and my manager, and they decided that coz things had been a bit rough for the past 3 months, and they hadnt had time to evaluate me properly, they would be increasing my probation another 3 months.

So skip 2 months... yesterday, they call me down, and we sit down, and they announce that im now permanent. YAY!!

This is my first permanent job. EVER! I know, that sounds bad... but everything up to now has either only lasted as long as my probation, or i never got to official "permanent" status.

So, now that im permanent, i can start looking to get a new(er) car. The sinking ship im driving atm is too big, and with the steadily rising petrol prices... yeah, say no more.

It has been suggested that I include more comments, as a means to earn more points for thumbs (or the person suggesting it was just having too much fun thumbing me..... BLUSH)

So, I think i will start blogging on here. I used to blog extensively (tho a little sporadically) on MSN. You'll be hearing day-to-day stories, about what's up in my life.

The insult of being sold back 2 the store...

The audacity of being bought for a mere 50pts!

Am i nothing more than just liquid asset? Something to be acquired for as little as possible and left 2 accumulate interest, until somebody buys me, to perpetuate a loss and profit cycle!?
