A went to a new apartment high-rise to check it out today. not to move or anything, just a nice new building. Standard fare though, tiny tiny places for big big bucks.

And what's with kitchens? Don't places come with kitchens any more? it was this tiny little alcove, one person big, no counter space, and almost no storage. All for only $3,000 a month. ugh.

OK, I hate to take someone else's words, but... listening to a podcast today (catching up really), they played a mix of Natalie Walker's "Quicksand" (Thievery Corporation Remix). Not only an excellent song, the lyrics hit me. Quite simple, yet very powerful. I thought I'd share. Check it out on itunes if you can - what a voice.

No new tale to tell???
So what's the deal with pets - when is it OK to buy someone and when is it not? this can be confusing, especially when you buy someone who hadn't wanted to be bought....
