im going to rant here so if you dont want to hear it dont read it. i own 1 fabulous pitbull and a rotweiler and im sick and tired of hearing about viciouse dog attacks by the two breeds....blame the facking owners not the dogs, who were probably raised to be that way or have a reason to be that way. either that or people are misreading their body language and they aren't even being vicious at all. i was watching a when animals attack show on tv and they showed 2 "pit bulls" attacking 2 little boys who were 7 and 12.... i was w3atching and the dogs weren't being vicious at all, they were showing the exact body language as my dogs do when they play with me or eachother. they were chasing the kids 2 get them to play!!!!! THEN the owner came by, a useless tit on a boar she was she just screamed at the dogs and when that didn't work she just left, obviously not caring what happened to them, because the police were called and and officer came by to help. now if these dogs were really trying to hurt these children TRUST me they would have done the job in inder 2 minutes......i watched the dogs chase these kids around thinking it was th greatest play time in their life ( because their owner obviously was too lazy to try to get them out to play ever) for what seemed like a long tim...at least a half an hour then the kids mother calleda police officer . now i realize that the officer was just doing his job, and when the adrenaline gets going and you don't really know whats happening you do what u think is right.......but one of the kids came to the officer to hide behind him. the larger of the 2 dogs came by and grabberd the older child's pant leg....not the skin (niether of the children had any injuries) and the officer didn't think of trying to move or even kick at the dogs ass with its foot his just stupidly aims to kill the poor animal and takes out his gun and shoots the dog.....and get this.... he gets the dog in the shoulder. Poor fido has a massive shoulder wound and is probably thinking " wat the heck did i do to deserve that" ..... if that officer knew anything about dogs he would know that the aniamls wee playing otherwise the 2 children wuld be dead....i hate to say that but the power they have if you don't know how to handle it can be scary, but someone who isn't eduacated shouldn't have been sent in to deal with that type of situation..... and don't get me started on the ignorance and negligence of the owner of the poor animals..... people like this should not own ANY type of dog let alone a more stubborn and hard to train energetic beed such as a pit bull. ANYONE thinking of buying one of these dogs they are the most amazing and worthwhile companions you can own, but you need to put a lot of time and effort into them to....before you buy any breed of dog PLEASE educate yourself and PLEASE learn to socialize your animals properly to other animals, people and especiall to children... even if you have a shi-tzu....trust me it will benefit you and them....... i never an to see another do killed because of ingnorance again....... )oh, and just a side note to anyone who has ever fought a dog with purpose..... please die a painful death, and i hope that u are forced to relive all the torture these dogs go through daily in hell for eternity.... and if you beleive in reincarnation, i hope u come back as fighing dogs so you will understand what you do is the most perverse form of entertainment ever created!!!!!!!)
