Much things going on round here that I can't even offer to know the slightest about what's going on. As always all will undoubtedly become clear. In the mean time I'll just follow orders.

can't wait till Thursday. Go to sign the contracts to get a new bigger house. no more sardine tin for me... finally the 6 of us will have enough space so that we don't have to be under each others feet 24/7 which is really beginning to get to us all. but only a couple more days and all will be improved.

As a result though I may have \a break in my internet connection for a couple days but will catch up when i get back.

Well, Today is the day I hit 35. Not a bad haul really, concidering that at my age all you are supposed to get are socks (which you wouldn't be seen dead in... the more hideous the better apparantly)

This year my haul included a beanie tiger from my son Shawn (he wanted to buy me a huge ceramic tigers head for the wall but mummy couln't afford it (Dammit, those things look SO cool!), A "Dad's handbook" , a pretty funky looking T-shirt, and another share in WWE. bringing my total up to a grand total of 2! (Hoping to collect more shares in WWE but never seem to remember to buy any lol)

I am told there is still one prezzie still in transit and hopefully will be coming through the post today :)

Also as part of my prezzies I am being treated to a weekend away. I am really looking forward to this as I know where I am going and it is a place I have wanted to go for a couple years now!. More details on that this coming week.... but it will definitly NOT be for the weak at heart or the under-aged lol

THEN AND NOW... MYMY HAVEN'T TIMES CHANGED?

This is sacrily possible these days... infact is is VERY scarily possible :(

Scenario: Johnny and Mark get into a fistfight after school.

1958 - Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up buddies.
2008 - Police called, SWAT team arrives, arrests Johnny and Mark. Charge them with assault, both expelled even though Johnny started it.

Scenario: Jeffrey won't be still in class, disrupts other students.

1958 - Jeffrey sent to office and given a good paddling by the Principal.
Returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again.
2008 - Jeffrey given huge doses of Ritalin. Becomes a zombie. Tested for ADD. School gets extra money from state because Jeffrey has a disability.

Scenario: Billy breaks a window in his neighbour's car and his Dad gives him a whipping with his belt.

1958 - Billy is more careful next time, grows up normal, goes to college, and becomes a successful businessman.
2008 - Billy's dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy removed to foster care and joins a gang. State psychologist tells Billy's sister that she remembers being abused herself and their dad goes to prison. Billy's Mom has affair with psychologist.

Scenario: Mark gets a headache and takes some aspirin to school.

1958 - Mark shares aspirin with Principal out on the smoking dock.
2008 - Police called, Mark expelled from school for drug violations. Car searched for drugs and weapons.

Scenario: Pedro fails high school English.

1958 - Pedro goes to summer school, passes English, goes to college.
2008 - Pedro's cause is taken up by state. Newspaper articles appear nationally explaining that teaching English as a requirement for graduation is racist. ACLU files class action lawsuit against state school system and Pedro's English teacher. English banned from core curriculum. Pedro given diploma anyway but ends up mowing lawns for a living because he cannot speak English.

Scenario: Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers from 4th of July, puts them in a model airplane paint bottle, blows up a red ant bed.

1958 - Ants die.
2008 - BATF, Homeland Security, FBI called. Johnny charged with domestic terrorism, FBI investigates parents, siblings removed from home, computers confiscated, Johnny's Dad goes on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.

Scenario: Johnny falls while running during recess and scrapes his knee. He is found crying by his teacher, Mary. Mary hugs him to comfort him.

1958 - In a short time, Johnny feels better and goes on playing.
2008 - Mary is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She faces 3 years in State Prison. Johnny undergoes 5 years of therapy.

I have been given a new nickname. I love it!.. there is a long story behind it, but it was originaly intended as an insult by a former pet of my owner's, and we all know that the best way to disarm an insult is to embrace it and use it as a symbol of power so Little Fuck I am!

Been a couple of very weird days. Found out yesterday that a friend of mine from New Zeland who I spent a lot of time talking to on MSN committed suicide last week. Talk about a shock to the system! She never ever struck me as being the kind to do that. she was always very cheerful and seemed very happy, but then I guess you never can truly tell what is really going on in someones mind eh?

I seem to be becoming more integrated into the pack. Am quite enjoying it if truth be told. I guess they just wanted to be sure I would stick around instead of going from owner to owner etc. but everyone there seems to be very friendly and after all that is what we are all here for isn't it? I can see myself staying untill they all get sick of me! lol

Hopefully I@ll remember to update these tales a bit more often. I have always been terrible at blogging as I for one am a private person. I don't see why anyone would be interested in my mundaine life. "today, did nothing interesting, saw noone interesting but hey.. I'll write 17 pages about it"..... Nope, that's not me. I only tend to write these when something really pisses me off.

but then, who am I to say what other peole will or own't find interesting. Feel free to comment and let me know.
