I saw Haale again last night. She's of Persian decent, born of Irani parents and raised in New York City. She chose to follow her heart, instead of following in the footsteps of her folks, composing driving rock songs that tackle the elements, feed off the land, struggle with complex emotions and ultimately overcome strife. Inspired by Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, the Persian poet Rumi, Charles Simic and the Sufi trance tradition... She's definitely worth checking out.

He has showed utter contempt for his vows of marriage let alone the law that he's pledged to uphold. I don't know what infuriates me more... a man who through his entire career has manipulated the law to advance his own agenda or his own self indulgent behavior.
