Hand in Hand…

As we sit in the snow white sand,
And the waves crash upon the shore,
I stare to the sky trying to understand,
Why the stars seem brighter then ever before.

Is it because the sky is so clear,
That the stars are shining bright?
Or could it be that love is near,
On this perfect summer night?

We laugh, we kiss, we talk,
Draw pictures in the sand.
Along the ocean we walk,
Just her and I, Hand in Hand.

Our night is almost finished,
As the moon is fading fast,
Another day will be diminished,
Put with the others in the past.

Everything seems to melt away,
Faster then the drop of a dime,
As night dissolves to day,
We lose more precious time.

Surely soon the sun will rise,
As this is Gods command,
I know she can see the twinkle in my eyes,
As we walk Hand in Hand.

i hate the way some ppl (women) are treated by some of us guys. those guys i am referring to need to remember that every woman has her own charm....just need to know where to look....

well, most of who i am and what's goin on with me i write into poetry...so here's what's up now:

It is strange to here your voice
It's been a year since I've heard it,
That gentle soothing melody.
Yet I cannot help but wonder why;
Why you now want to be a part of me...a part of my life.

You ask how I have been,
since....Since what you did to me.
My heart was broken, torn to pieces;
I was living in a barren land,
Void of joy....of hope.

The dreams we dreamed
Were lost and forgotten.
All that is left of us, of what we were
Are the pain-filled yet blissfull memories of the past....
