The 5km marathon run we entered went by so quickly
You running by my side meant a great deal to me
I’ve made some wrong turns but you’re always there to correct them
During the run, we made a few stops to catch our breath and to refill our thirst
At one point we both wanted to give up
Both of us were exhausted and tired
But the strength in us kept us going
We did hell of a good job supporting each other didn’t we?
If not for your good sense of direction, we wouldn’t made this far
Halfway through the run, I accidently tripped and hurt myself
I tried to regain my composure to continue the run
But you didn’t want to wait because I’ll only slow you down
I tried my best to chase and look for you
But you have already reached the finish line
