Why "Reg Toilet".
In the 80's I worked with a guy called Chris Hartley. He left to go free-lance in Spain as he used to be a Spanish teacher who found himself working in IT. We were both programmers and it is common practise to add your name to any changes you make to a program so the next person knows who to refer to.
For some reason we started making anagrams from names. He became Charley Shirt and I became Reg Toilet GLG. I've dropped the GLG now.
I do answer to Reg.
