Once apon a time there was a little panda,
it's eyes were bright as a fox's.
It was too small and it's colors were not right,
The little panda lived in a crumpled box,
waiting for her owner to come.
One day it was sunny,
on day it rained,
but each day was without her and the little fox-panda pained.
Her eyes grew wet with tears,
her red fur grew damp,
for she had been waiting for these long years,
and still nobody came to claim her.
Then one afternoon when the little fox was dreaming,
she heard a melodic voice say;
"Why have you been waiting in this poor sod of a box,
when you could be out enjoying your life?"
The little fox awoke with it's eyes streaming,
and looked into the bright sun this day.
"You were right" she said,
I wasted my time being lost and alone,
and now I've come to see the light!
It's little eyes shone,
unbelievably bright,
as it scrambled out of the mangy box.
The sight around her was too beautiful to comprehend,
All the flowers and colors startled the fox.
The fox-panda's life just then ended,
just as she saw this beauty.
The little panda-fox's life was known to no one,
but seeing the light, she died with hope in her eyes.
Haha, that was an odd way to pass the time! xD I wrote this as I went, so that explains why it makes little sense and doesn't rhyme much. Hehe. :)
