As most of you know, Victoria Australia has been hit by the worst bushfires we have ever seen. The death toll is staggering, and the fires are still burning.
A lot of you have seen the photo of the koala drinking from the water bottle. Her name is Sam and she will be fine. She has scorched paws, but they hope to release her back into the wild in about 5 months.

You can get a 5x7 print shipped to the States for about $21 and all funds go to the CFA -these are the volunteers out fighting the fires.
We decided at work today that we will donate money to Wildlife Victoria. The current fire situation has left its devastation on our wildlife including the loss of at least two wildlife shelters to the fires. Wildlife Victoria are trying to assertain the safety of other shelters in the fire areas and to offer support and help with evacuation of animals already in their care if they need it.

They need money desperately. We raised $190 today, and we will surely get more as everyone gets paid this weekend at work.
I am also running a raffle. Tickets are $5 each. You will go into the running to win either a custom made black PVC corset, or a pair of Pajamas, print of your choice. Every single cent raised will got to Wildlife Victoria. I am currently trying to get some donations from all of my friends who make clothes, jewelery, so many things you could think of, and the work is amazing. SO at the very least, you will be the owner of a custom corset or Pajamas, but I dare say there will be some amazing other products for you to win if I know my friends....
