First few days of college were exciting. I was nervous because everything is new but you know...it wasn't so bad. Parking is hell but everything else isn't as bad as i thought it would be. I kind of enjoy it :]

Today was the last day of my senior year in high school. On one hand, I'm super excited to be moving on, but then I'm also scared to face the unknown.....and a bit sad to be leaving. It's funny. For the past four years I've looked forward to leaving behind the dirty, ancient, gum and graffiti covered hallways of Temple High School. But now I'm leaving behind friends I have made, in students and teachers. Sure, there's ways to keep in touch but school is the glue, somehow, that held everything I considered normal together. Facing what happens after high school seems a bit scary. But I'll face it day by day, letting my mistakes and triumphs help me to mature, until the day when I can face the future with confidence, instead of trying to cling to what's familiar. And, hopefully, I have help in doing so.
