I just found out I'm a walking miracle. Literally, truly, a walking miracle.

I go for my abdominal ultrasound tomorrow morning on my second round of tests. In some ways, I hope they find something - just so I can know what it is, put together a plan to deal with it and get out of pain. In other ways, I don't want them to find anything. Because all of what it could be, scares me.

The physical pain has been really intense lately. The blood work was a nasty experience that left a nasty bruise (but that's healing nicely which is good news for my iron levels). I have an ultrasound next week to check for gall stones. Right now, I think I would like it to be whatever they test for next - just so we can stop testing and start treating!

I've had a whopping 3.5 days where I've been really really happy and I'd just like to post about it. No, no boyfriend. Shoot - I'm not even dating right now. I'm just me and I'm just doing my life. I'm enjoying the people around me and just... HAPPY!!! I don't know how long this will last, but it doesn't matter. I'm enjoying right now and it isn't the last time I'll feel this way. YAY!

It's one thing to say that you're open to whatever life throws at you and a completely different thing to actually be that way. I would consider it a huge accomplishment to know I lived my life actually BEING open.
