Unknown's tales

Seriously though, some of my friends may be aware that I have not been entirely happy in my married life for the last 6 months, some may know the details. I would like to thank you for your incredible support and love. Facebook has helped me put my life together again. But just as it helped rebuild my shattered selfesteem, it is now putting my fragile relationship at risk. My realtime relationship is worth more to me than my internet buddies, sad as it is to admit. I have to choose between trying to rebuild my relationship my wife, and continuing to banter with my friends from all over the world. I chose the first. I really will miss you all terribly...

Hi everyone. This is likely to be the last posting from the Spotkat. The shapeshifter leopard-man-dragon (for those who have read my ramblings) is about to shift back into human shape, and likely remain so for a long time. The dappled shade will swallow the spotted one, and he will disappear into the night. But always remember to look over your shoulder...He has set all his pets free, and kissed his virtual friends goodbye...a raspy leopard tongue on the hand...and a spray of Paco Rabanne on the pages of history. Spotkat scentmarks for the last time...

Otter tales....Cape Hangklip (Hanging Rock)

The family group ran along the sand-water border with what appeared to be gay abandon, the (obviously) younger members of the group pouncing on one another and the adults. The absolute frivolity of what they were doing was just amazing. then suddenly, they seemed to become aware of us. they all reared up on their hind legs. All four stared us straight in the eye. The male give a sharp whistle-like alarm signal, and they turned in unison, and disappeared into the waves. They surfaced a few times, but soon disappeared into kelp, never to be seen again. Christo and I stared at each other. what a priviledge! A small snapshot in time, forever burned into my memory. We often went back to Hangklip, but never saw the otters again. Their spoor (tracks) were there, and their droppings, but never did they show themselves again...

He led me through the scrub bush that covers the sand dunes, and then motioned for my to be quiet, as he carefully peered around a rocky outcrop that separated the dunes from a sweeping sandy bay. there, gamboling on the white sand, was four Cape Clawless Otters! We had seen their spoor the previous day, and also their droppings, full of shellfish shells, but had never dreamed of seeing these elusive creatures.
