I'm a huge fan of tea, and often get green or chai tea when I'm at a coffee house. So, I was really pleased when surveying the Hagen Daaz ice cream to see a Green Tea ice cream....

Now, I'm wondering what would possess anyone to make ice cream out of green tea, and even more wondering what possessed me to buy it. For drinking, wonderful, as a frozen treat... not so much.

Today was a classic boss day. I'm getting a cold or something. Feeling pretty lousy and really just hoping to get through the day to 5:00 p.m. so I can go home, prepare for Worship rehearsal tomorrow and go to bed early. Then, the boss pulls one of his typical, 4:55 meetings. 7:00 p.m., I'm finally able to leave the office, knowing I won't be able to go to bed early (some of us don't have a wife to make dinner and take care of things around the house while we work 12 hour days, oh yeah, some of us would be me). His parting shot.... Hey get some rest. Nice, really nice.

Finally, Friday is here. I figure, counting the frantic technical call I had at home on Saturday that lasted 30 minutes, I've got about 60 hours in this week. But, I now have my weekend, which is packed full as well, with a hair appointment, oil change and then the Celtic Women concert on Saturday. I'm really looking forward to having several hours in the car with my very dear friend Tim. Seems we never get enough time to say everything we want to one another. I'll be needing a nap on Sunday afternoon, since I have to be up to lead worship at 8:30 and won't likely get back from the concert until 1 or so. Can't turn down free premium seat tickets and VIP parking pass, though.
