i am working like a man inspired again. having my daughter with me, despite all the erratic happenstance of her arrival and issues with her mother, has allowed me some mental solemnity to concentrate on the work itself. i should have a number of pictures to post on my face book page and am preparing myself for a few showing situations. i don't really have a muse at present other than the calmed acuity to create without impedance from the difficulties of becoming separated with kids involved.

My sixteen year old daughter is now living with me full time. she has her own room and her own responsibilities to keep her busy. she has her own interests and friends that are pretty great actually. here's to helping her appreciate how great she is and then getting the hell out of the way as she becomes her own person.
i have been busy working on many things and have been doing really well. am in quite a comfortable place with myself and when i eventually get to meeting someone it should be alright.

it's late at night (well, not really) and while i should be working in the studio i am fettered by the loneliness of having spent a weekend with my kids to have them back with their mother tonight and that leaves me bothered by the quietness of the studio. my wanting is not directed to having someone for the sexy time but for someone just to share that time with. someone to curl up on the couch with and watch silly movies with or to be near and to share in all of the cool things developing in my life and in to share my work with. my ex never did that but i think it would be nice and a person to share time with is a lovely conceit. a sounding board for your ideas and theirs, for your interests and theirs....etc. for now i press hard to the grindstone and accomplish as much as i can.
