The meaning in life is really quite simple, but baffling to our minds. It is so simple we cannot comprehend it, so difficult it is nearly impossible to achieve it, so infinitely large it is difficult to contain. To the mind real life it does not exist at all it is impossible. Only the life of the mind exists.

The definition of purpose in life is not the material accumulation of wealth, poverty, happiness and sadness, young and old. There is only one answer which encompasses everything in life. The problem is not in the definition which is quite simple, but in realizing it, seeing it, and becoming it. This is where the difficulty lies.

The true meaning in life is to find God, to Love God to be God. Depending on your outlook in life, your upbringing, your spiritual or religious inclination the exact wording may differ from culture to culture. It may be enlightenment or to find God, to Love God, Mohammed or Buddha or to be one with the Great Spirit or soul. Essentially it is to find the path through the illusion which we think is reality. It is to find the true life of God and to realize and become complete as one with God, to dissolve in the beloved, great spirit as one, to merge into infinity.

The world we live in and see quite clearly every day is a product, an illusion created by our ever adaptive mind. This is the world of opposites of duality of up and down, left and right, hot and cold. The mind operates in this world by making comparisons to form life. Without hot, cold could not exist as there would be no form of comparison to discover what is cold from hot. This is how the mind exists. When duality is seen for what it is, a dream, an illusion, then the spiritual path is sighted. This is where the trail begins to find God and to eventually merge with him after many lifetimes and to become one with him.


The absolute definition of the purpose in life is to become one with God. Nothing more, nothing less.
