I went for a walk last night
in the pouring rain
I couldn't help but think of you
and the first night you held my hand
I remember it so clearly
The rain kept coming down
But you insisted that we walk along
We seemed to walk for miles
the time went by so slowly
yet I've never been so happy
as that night i was with you
Often I look back
to those days that are now gone past
To all the memories and
the thoughts we should have shared
