I read that this thing is confusing you. I wonder if the thing that confuses you is the fact that some stranger (me) owns you... People here at Human Pets often buy new people who have just arrived here. Sometimes they do that because they think the person seems interesting or beautiful. And sometimes they just want to earn more points (you get some more when the pet is bought from you). At first I also thought that Human Pets was confusing. Now I'm kind of addicted to it. Anyway, I wanted to explain this thing a bit when I saw what you had written.
