ok, so I am about to start taking burlesque lessons and, when I signed up I knew very little about it other than it was a cute and funny striptease.....hhmmmmmm...... Since then I have watched some burlesque on YouTube and now I must admit, I am frightened!!!! WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO?!?! No matter, should be a unique and fun experience......and hey!!!! I might even be good at it and find my new inner passion? Could happen.........ok.......stop laughing now........

For anyone who has not heard of or seen Spirit of the West, I urge you to do so right away!!!! They are the perfect blend of East Coast meets West Coast, rock meets folk. It is impossible to not move to their amazing sound. Even though every fiber in my body was screaming "OH MY GOD!!! You are NOT 20 anymore!!! Please stop dancing!!!" I could not help but get right in there and stomp and clog the night away!!! What an amazing concert!!! And all the better that it was shared by people I love dearly. I am already excited about going back and doing it all again next year :)

My oh my what a weekend!!!!!! And it is not yet over!!! So far I have gone to see a WICKED concert (Spirit of the West with Ashley McIssac!!!!!), spent the next day bird watching and running a billion errands, came home, baked 2 cakes (the crazy double tiered kind covered in fondant then topped with flowers and pokadots) and kept in constant contact with one of my ladies who is in labour. Today it is Sunday and I have 40 people coming over for a baby shower (for another gal) and I will be leaving at some point to help deliver twins. All of this in only a few days!!!! AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! What an amazing weekend!!!
