The Computer Spider Not officially a pet, however it has taken up residence between my screen and screen light filter, and I haven't had the heart (or time) to remove it to a more suitable place. It could come in handy next summer against those annoying midges. Any thoughts on how you tell the sex of a minute spider, please inform then name giving can begin!

The Giant Land Snails Well they're not so giant at the moment, but growing fast. they were born on or around 19th July (same as Neil!). In the short time I've had them, the slimy darlings have almost tripled in size, oh yes they've scraped their way through a whole cucumber (they didn't eat the cherry tomato or pear, but they did enjoy the paper towel that was supposed to stop the compost falling through the holes at the bottom of thier temporary home). They're not very visitor friendly as they disappear into the soil during the day and only come out at night. Once they're bigger they won't be able to hide!! Names for the snails are also welcome, remember each one is both male and female!

The Hissing Cockroaches There's two of them, both as beautiful as each other. Being boys they seem to fight a lot of the time, that is when they're not sleeping, eating or drinking. Still they're getting used to the femine touch, they don't hiss as much now when I pick them up. They've been a valued part of my life now for just over a month, and of the massive bag of rat pellets they've munched their way through one pellet (and a quarter of a cucmber, a bit of pair and half a cherry tomato). Name suggestions gladly accepted as the boy aren't liking the names Snowy and Fluffy as given to them by my sister!
