what i night...i ran with a heard of deer for what seemed hours, just to see if i could...i had eaten already[some flapping, stupid farm yard birds]they refused to fly away so i bit their heads off and ate the gizzards. boney creatures, hardly worth the trouble....

finaly, when steam was rising off me and at a slight pant, i found a hollow dried fallen tree.

i stayed there for most of the day. it was in a huge bowl in a wood, its rim was surrounded by brush and hawthorne. i felt safe and secure, like when i was with my mother...\

now i want more than milk, and i preparing myself. marking the territory and looking out over the valley from a very high up clump, covered in nettles.

i was laying down in the shade of willow tree[for these trees provide excellent cover for a midmorning snooze]

a sudden breeze threw the scent something passing miles away...
i got up and stretched, poked my whiskers out of the canopy and realized it was something that i deeply desired...what it was i cannot tell, my senses are on alert to catch the presence of this intriguing new arrival.

its rare to find this sorts of trail these days. oh well, i had better sharpen my claws. i have the urge for a chase in the midnight forests of my domain.
