Leo the snake is currently having problems shedding his skin, its the 7th day now and he is patchy. He should have shedded his skin in full and there would have been a perfect empty snake skin!
So, there is a problem with the humidity... He has two hides, one in the cool end and one down the hot end. He has a large water bowl in which he can bath in. He has Vine, fake jungle like plants, and Aspen substrate.
I have added Moss today in the hide in the hot end to help with humidity.... Im hoping that he will be able to soak up a bit which will help to remove the rest of his old skin.
He is very active, and keeps coming out for food, as he has not been fed in a while... he is fed hopper mice, I will see if he wants one tonight... if not he will have to wait for his normal feed on wednesday.
