so, I'm back at my father's house once again. Setting up my two rooms with two years of acquired "shit" has been my main focus when I'm not working, which has been every day since I've gotten the job. The times I'm most active are the times I'm at work so it's taken a few days just to clean out one of the rooms and turn it into an acceptable bedroom. Now, I still have to get my couch off the deck and inside and up two flights of stairs and into this room, which, if you could see the hallways and corners to contend with, I'm not looking forward to. But, hell, at least I have shit to complain about and a place to have that shit I'm complaining about, right? It could be worse, I could be back on the streets with nothing more than a couple days of dirty clothes and an empty wallet.....

So, go figure, huh.... I get the notice of eviction on Tuesday. Bring my cousin to talk to his old bosses yesterday about his going back to work in a week. One simple question from them, "Are you still working at Keyport?" I tell them no and how long I've been unemployed. "We'll have to move a few things around but I think we can get you some work soon." Check my voicemail about 11 this morning. "Chris, was wondering if you wanted to start tomorrow at 2pm. Call either one of us back today, let us know. Thanks." If it ain't one thing bringing me down, it's something else bringing me up with an ocean-worth of salt in the previous wound. But, no matter how this sounds, I'm thrilled as fuck right now. I've wanted to get back into cooking, at a good, real restaurant for a while now. I guess hitting that wall at 110 light years a second, backing up in my views of my life was a good thing after all.

Well, here we go. I won't be on much anymore. Just got a lovely fucking visit from the owner of the park. I have one week to come up with a shitload of money or vacate the premises. Gotta love getting evicted just before the cold season, huh?

Still processing the information that I received from the eye doctor yesterday. I've got glaucoma. Have another appointment with a new doc on the 9th to determine the extent and the course of action. Hopefully, it's just drops and I won't lose my sight by the time I'm in my late 50's.

So. Not sure what to say tonight... Had a cookout at the father's house tonight, cuz my grill sucks donkey dong. Visited the Aunt after that. Stopped at a bar to see a friend that was working... ended up Drunk and Stumbling... Stopped at another friend's house on the drive home and laughed my ass off at her sister... Oh yeah, during the evening I heard probably 5 people mention the suicide from last week... not a good thing since I'm drunk and can't smoke any ganja to mellow me out.... But, now I'm home, the night is better and I'm...........
