EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

I can see the beauty
In the stars above
It's right here
In front of me
Every night
As I look into
The heavens
Into the lonely sky
There are millions of stars
Yet it is not lonely
It is I
I can see the beauty
In the falling snow
And I know
It's a cold yet
Peaceful Beauty
Every day of my life
As I look and see
All of the Beautiful things
Around me
The way the clouds
Dance in the sky
On a summer day
The sun peeking through
Laughing and shining
Making all things
Beautiful
The grass and flowers
Proudly displaying
Their Beauty
As all around
Everything shines
On a rainy day
The leaves glistening
And floating
About the boughs
Of the trees
All of the sounds
Are music to my ears
Music is Beauty
Silence is Beauty
Listening to
A Heartbeat
Childrens laughter
Beautiful rainbow colours
Surrounding the earth
Catch a glimpse
Of that Beauty
Before it fades
Nothing stays
The same
Exchanging one moment
For another
There are many Beautiful
Things around me
People, busy people
Lost in their thoughts
I can see the Beauty
Within Me
Reflecting
Do they see it
I know not
For Beauty is in
The Eye of the Beholder
