UPDATE!!!! Jim is still in Chicago undergoing tests. His last test should be on Monday. This will be a right heart cath which determines the pressures inside the heart (ejection factor). Jim's is usually 12-14. Not good, but still strong enough to withstand surgery.

The LVAD team meets on Wednesday to discuss their cases. That is when the decision will be made if they can safely and successfully operate on Jim.

In the mean time, he reads a lot, visits with other heart patients and watches baseball (White Sox and Cubs, I bet!).

I want to thank everyone for their prayers. I know that prayer is very powerful and God is listening.

Please pray for my uncle. He is in Chicago to HOPEFULLY(if everything works out) get a artifical heart pump. If he does not get this then his life expectency is less than a year! I need EVERYONE'S prayers! So please please please pray for him and our family through this tough time.

Ok so today is Ja'Kaila's funeral. Jameela asked me last night if I wanted to speak at the funeral. I told her I would try. Well today I don't think i will be able to. I don't feel confident plus I never really got to know Ja'Kaila. Ok I need to go before I ball my eyes out.
