Well today was the day for the Canby Master Gardeners plant sale and it was forcasted to be warm and sunny.
Well we ( Gwayne and I ) went to bed late and got about 4 hours of sleep. So we wanted to get coffee before we got there.
Well there really isn't any on the way and we had to wait till we got to the town to find any. We passed one and ended up going back to it. Well we got our coffee and our bagels and then all of a sudden there was a bump and then the truck died. :(
So we ended up walking to the sale about a mile away. And were almost late!
Come to find out the alternatior died! Which really sucks.. since we are so low on funds. The hubby got a job but doesn't start for 2 more weeks and rent is due.
We did find a repair shop open but the part we needed was not available from any places open so we didn't get it fixed. We will have to get it on Monday which will be a VERY long bus ride to get it. At least the repair shop is a reasonable price and nice folk! And to be honest it died at a better time than in the line that was already piling for the plant show.. ohh that would of sucked!!
Then the gates open and the rush of people flooded in like every year! Which was great and we ended up selling alot till the rains came and it didn't just sprinkle..O NO~ it POURED!!! crappy weather!! And me in my Chaco sandals! brrrr. I was so hoping for sunshine!! Ohh well
That was the day I had. Tomorrow is my only day off this week. The hubby and I are off to see IRONMAN for the early show which I think is 10 am.. ouch.. then back home for a nap and more nap and more nap..lol

And with the drama in my life lately I need space from this.....
I'm on facebook where I play on apps that really help the environment! And that is what made this profile site better to me than myspace. I refuse to delete my account here but will make it for friends only when I see fit.

I wish the world would eat good food instead of food where you get it like Safeway or Costco. Clean food comes from small farmers that are a dying species. If we don't have the thoughts in our mind to keep the small framers around then we are stuck with the food that is genitally manifoldly. We need to ban together to make the food .. the staple of life.. better for all and since I want to be a farmer and they are going extinct in the world we need to think bigger!! Like who are we allowing in the presidency??

When you think of the president do you think they will help us eat? Or do you think of how they will kill more people?? I don't believe in killing I also don't think the that we should eat anything that the the " government " thinks is ok..
How many time have you seen the ads saying eggs are bad... then eggs are good?? What happens to the the chickens who hatch the egg and are they raised in a good environment to know their eggs are ok!!!!Why do we let the government regulate our food quality?? Why can't we eat clean food with out worry?? Because we worry more about war and protection of our own!! think about it there is only one running for the president and it isn't he female or the black man that would change history.. no its Nader and I don't vote and never have , but this election I just might to help the fight! I want a better world to live in and I don't think many people are really thinking about what it really takes .to make it better! Food is a staple in our lives and without it we WILL BECOME EXTINCT!!
Please keep this small but really significant thought in your mind when you vote! We need more people making a bigger difference than just to vote the way their parents did this time around. We all went through the last election and it wasn't kosher or pretty and we need to be more real in our votes and vote for the future of the planet not the future of the next four years!! But instead think further into the future! Please I implore you from me and mt hubby, who wants to be farmers, but without the right help we will die before we begin!
