For those of you who don't know; yet care to know AND for those of you who DO know, and would like an update... I have recurrent Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This is the third time I have had this cancer.
I had an appointment yesterday at Princess Margaret, as I do every month. Last wekk I did a CATscan, so got most of the results yesterday. My doctor hadn't gotten all fo the reports yet, but looking at the scans themselves (and keeping in mine he is not a radiologist), he could see a 1 - 1.5cm spot in my liver... which might be nothing, but likely isn't a good thing.

SO, he decided to add a drug to my current treatment, as well as various drugs, to prevent likely side effects from the drug he's put me on. So because of this, I have gone from taking one pill a day, to taking anywhere from 4 to 16 pills a day! Plus using a mouth rinse to prevent thrush (for those of you who don't know, that is a common mouth yeast found in infants).
So needless to say, I hope that this helps, because I have now been off work for a year and a half, and I feel trapped by my illness.
