Im caught in storm I built all my own
My fears and doubts keep me down
It Swirls around me, pounding me from the inside
Im confused and bewildered
Feeling shot down and wounded
To sum it to words, this I can barely do
Im a child in the woods, the darkness is coming
The trees so much taller, making me feel smaller
The balnket I hold
Is the only security I know
Dragging it around, everywhere I go
Through the dirt, the mud, rocks and snow
It knows where ive been, never where i go
It shares my pains, my fears and my joys
Tonight when I hold it, I feel empty inside
The comfort is gone, the warmth is fading
Much like the light, its effects grow less as the seconds pass
I know im to blame, for this I know
This storm I created, this storm of my own
Is a maze with a path, I do not know
As I sit in this storm, I built all my own
