One day, while Sybil was watching the other penguins frolick & feint in the ocean, she pondered what exactly it would be like if she so decided to try & swim. She had tried before, although each effort was fruitless, but she still yearned to be as other penguins & to swim in the depths of the cool, calm ocean. Watching the ice float by, she realized suddenly that it wasn't that she couldn't swim, it was that she deeply feared the waters that so wanted to envelope her. She then thought of how she might go about not actually 'swimming' but perhaps 'wandering' in the water, splashing, trying to become more acquainted with it's dark & fearsome ways... Maybe she could do it... If only she would try... Again, I need those thumbs.

Well, I s'pose I could tell a tall tale of a small penguin, who didn't know how to swim... Most penguins can swim, but this one couldn't & therefore, was an outcast to the insider penguin world. The ocean was useful not only to the penguins, but to the rest of the creatures that spawned in the Arctic, so not using it would be wasteful. Sybil, a small penguin, was the loneliest & most sad penguin out of them all, because after all, being an outcast is a lonesome thing. (This will continue, but I need more thumbs)
