My ears flick and my head shakes as the snow slowly continues to fall. My head rising up and out from underneath the white blanket. My eyes scan the horizon, blinking a few times as the morning light blasts the trees in front of me. To my left I see my doghouse covered in the falling white stars from above. Smirking a bit knowing that I will never use the confines of such a structure, when the beauty of such scenery keeps me warm even in the blankets of beautiful snow. Standing up and shaking the snow from my fur, as it lands in clouds next to my paws. Looking around as my tail slowly wags at the surroundings, the trees, the mountains, and the small shack my master calls home.

This is winter, this is the forest, this...is my home.
