Crash Site

A thousand words have blead
From my eyes into my head.

Tomorrow finally found me,
In a heap on the floor,
Not knowing where I am,

It’s of no concern.

And sadly, I am done,

Winter’s Release

During harsh ides of winter,
A single wolf
Travels the wood, evergreen
Amongst darkness,
Amongst winter’s despair,
Amongst that which is death.
His companion
Is but a whisper…
A memory…
Wind amongst the trees
That carries crystallized beauty
To rest upon the ground.
His travel seems endless,
Aimless and futile.
Until, at last, he arrives
Upon a frozen lake,
And, gazing through the snow,
Sees himself in the ice.
Questioning his vision,
He leaps to and fro…
Searching for any discrepancy,
But finding none.
Accepting this reflection,
He succumbs to the ice,
And settles in among the snow,
Finding himself, at last,
In a place that feels like home.
