Here is a story to introduce my imaginary friend.
"Alien Jet Spinesto." The cop raised an eyebrow at me. "Alien Jet Spinesto." He repeated the name on my driver's liscence. As if repeating it might improve it somehow. I leaned back into my seat, and stared ahead, feeling bored. The red underlighting on my car continued to glow. "Young man, do you know why I pulled you over?" I sneered at him. "No officer, but I bet you're going to tell me." The officer's face reddened, and he straightened, pulling his dignified authority around himself like a cloak. "You have illigal underlighting on your car, you were exceeding the speed limit, you ran a red light, and you're not wearing your seatbelt."It was my turn to raise my eyebrow. "Officer, if I had known you were there I would have turned my underlights off. I was in a hurry to get to my gang meeting, and the red light, well you try to stop that fast when you're topping a hundred. And I can assure you, I always wear my seat belt, except for this time, I diden't want to wrinkle my suit." Plucking innocently a the tailored front of my Italien jacket did not seem to convince him. With a dark look he flipped open his ticket book. "I am am giving you a five hundred dollar ticket for your cornacopia of violations smartass. And if I catch you with those lights on your car again, I'll have that spiffy ride towed." Feinting consern I winced and stroked the wheel. With a final snort of disgust he stalked back to his cop bike.
