Good-by and Keep Cold-Robert Frost

This saying good-by on the edge of the dark
And the cold to an orchard so young in the bark
Reminds me of all that can happen to harm
An orchard away at the end of the farm
All winter, cut off by a hill from the house.
I don't want it girdled by rabbit and mouse,
I don't want it dreamily nibbled for browse
By deer, and I don't want it budded by grouse.
(If certain it wouldn't be idle to call
I'd summon grouse, rabbit, and deer to the wall
And warn them away with a stick for a gun.)
I don't want it stirred by the heat of the sun.
(We made it secure against being, I hope,
By setting it out on a northerly slope.)
No orchard's the worse for the wintriest storm;
But one thing about it, it mustn't get warm.
'How often already you've had to be told,
Keep cold, young orchard. Good-by and keep cold.
Dread fifty above more than fifty below.'
I have to be gone for a season or so.
My business awhile is with different trees,
less carefully nurtured, less fruitful than these,
And such as is done to their wood with an ax--
Maples and birches and tamaracks.
I wish I could promise to lie in the night
And think of an orchard's arboreal plight
When slowly (and nobody comes with a light)
Its heart sinks lower under the sod.
But something has to be left to God.

walking through the empty streets
slowly washing away the problems of life
it pours down in steady beats
the rain just like an unsang song

looking up to the darkened sky
letting it wash away the sorrows i feel
wondering why it rains when someone dies
but always is sunny when life is born

doing up my sweater tightly
to make the water repel off my hood
hopeing soon there will be light
but knowing full well it will just rain forever

although the sun shines bright
there will always be the rain
it might be hidden and out of sight
but stays lodged in my brain

as i silently make my way
past the houses i know to well
i look up at the sky and say
"just let it rain on me forever"

forever your gaze had made me weak
you holding embrace has made me weep
your kisses have made me cry with hunger
your eyes have made the worst of me.

your staring gaze has made skin crawl
your flowing hair has the look of a shawl
your devious lips had made me insane
your lips have made the worst of me

your movements in the dark night
the feeling of everything being alright
the way you held me close you to
your arms have made the worst of me

the voice of an angel callign my name
like the goddesses that have made men go insane
the sweetness of the on going rage
your voice have made the worse of me

and still i ponder in the day
of how i let you fly away
my nightengale has gone home
i have made the worse of you.

everytime you touch me i feel my heart stop
everytime you kiss me i feel it beat like mad
everytime you hold me, it seems it dies away
everytime you say you love me, it melts away.

when im in your arms, your sweet loving embrace
a permanent smile cannot escape my face
everytime you touch me, i feel young again
and everytime you love me, i feel like im insane

its this thing i call escape, everytime im with you
and everytime we are apart im not sure what to do

when i got lost in your eyes
i thought forever was a heart beat away
and now that you are gone
forever seems so far away

you held me through the nights of dark
you kissed me in the days light
you made me feel whole and new
nothign said or done was a fright

then you left me for something better
somethign new and differnt you said
but all the words you told me
had not gone right through my head

and now im alone and crying
while you move on with your life
your promises and you kisses are gone
my heart is now bitter and cold, lke cut with a knife

you said forever like it was true
you said our love was pure
i should have went with my gut
when i wasnt feeling sure
