New Years was lots of fun, we went to a house with lots a Humans, a cat and a dog. I got to have champagne at midnight and vodka, rum, rockstar with vodka to drink. It was a little smokey at times but it's good thing I'm a firebird.

Today my master took me out for dinner with her husbands family. it was a lot of fun. His parents brought a lot of boxes covered in brghtly coloured paper, it must be for this holiday they keep calling xmas.

The floor is covered with them and they even brought a tree in the living room. Humans are funny in that way. I bet if I decided to bring stuff in from outside they would lock me in a cage.

No bother, from what I hear this holiday is over in a couple of days, I hope one of those brightly vocered boxes is for me, i love to play in boxes.
