Its 3am and I'm still studying for a quiz is tomorrow! Ahhhh not again! Hyped up on coffee mixed with hot chocololate (HAHA do you see the amount of o's and l's I just wrote in chocolate? Maybe it's the caffeine typing lol) and jigging like a child dizzy on lemonade to "The Wombats", thank God for The Wombats, don't think I could make it through studying without their infectious guitar playing and lyrics yay! (And yes of course I was listening to them on my iPod nano :D today).

In with the new, out with the old :D

Well a couple of days ago I made a final decision to splurge (got to love that word) on some new technology (well new to me :). As my last iPod nano gave up on me a couple of months ago I decided it was time to replace the beloved mp3 player. So I was on a mission, I researched on the internet the possible candidates. Sony of course was in the running as my phone is a Sony Ericsson which offers a very good (for a phone) mp3 player, so that had some positive emphasis Sony, go Sony. However, my last two mp3 players have been none other than Apple iPod, starting with the 15GB iPod and then a 2nd generation iPod nano (RED). However, each have failed me towards the end of the 1 year or more period. Also, while browsing at Powerbuy, there was the new Samsung touch mp4 player. Samsung hmmm also had one of their phones but never really trusted them with my music before. However hard the sales lady tried to quote the benefits I just wasn't swayed with this swanky new interface. I've had a LG pink chocolate phone in the past and touch wasn't exactly favourable at times (not gunna touch an LG product in a long time after that dissapointing product).

So after looking around and seeing these mp4 players in action I finally found myself in the similar surroundings of the iPod shop (iBeat), offering lots of pretty iPod nanos I couldn't resist their attractive shape, their slim stature and yes their nice shiny behind lol. So, that was it, I was sold to Apple. I picked my colour (blue) and took home my new bundle of joy, an 8GB iPod nano.

Have I regretted my decision? Well its day 2/3 of my choice and quite frankly I can say now we're pretty happy together, after figuring out how to convert my movies to iPod nano friendly format we've been having a whale of a time, watching music videos, watching family guy, Will and Grace and also most importantly listening to awesome tunes like Beautiful Lie by 30 seconds to Mars (and yes Jared Leto is on my iPod in full mp4 glory :D).

Yay for expensive, shiny, mp4 players which brings so much joy. I could never part with my iPod nano or my music, afterall its the soundtrack to my life :D
