Today's tale is not a funny one...

I have been off line and not doing my fun stuff like HP because I have had a rough few weeks. Raising teenagers is the most difficult job in the world, and one that I thought I had mastered. I was horribly wrong. As the scapegoat for all things evil in the world, my youngest son chose to punish me in a way that I cannot even begin to fathom. Thankfully, after a brief stay in ICU, his condition has stabilized and a long road lies before us as we struggle through his recovery. Don't give up on me my friends... I hope to return soon but right now I have a son who needs this horrible mother...the one who brought the plague to earth and sits at the right hand of the devil....wish me luck.

OMG, I'm LOL. You see my BFF from HP just tripped and now I'm LMAO....

I have slowly graduated into the realms of being a bilingual. It doesn't matter that I had 7 years of French ( Je parle francais comme une vache espanol) or 2 years of Spanish
( Hola! Que pasa?) or learned German expletives, numbers and a few kind words (liebchien) from a coach who basically raised me at an ice rink. No I wasn't bilingual until I started to speak "Cyber"

Our children will never be required to conjugate the verb "avoir" because they are already fluent in cyberspeak. They will never have to know how to spell "because" cuz it is the archaic version.

But I have a problem...since being on Human Pets (HP to those who are already bilingual), I have come across a new word that I simply cannot figure out the code for, and in light of the fact that my children are not on HP, i can't ask them to translate. So I really need your help with this one...

WTF does utb mean????

This tale may be a bit crude but it is a stunning observation I made this evening....forgive me for my temporary lapse in southern genteelity!

I decided to start doing a few short tales because little things kept popping into my mind that I wanted to jot down so I figured why not do it here so I could boost my thumb ratio at the same time.

So, my dear sweet twin sister thumbed me soon after the posting and no one else has for two days. With that being the case, here comes the crude thought that popped into my head:

Why is it so easy to be given the finger, but not so easy to be given the thumb?

This is really a good example of how backwards things can sometimes be here in the Mississippi Delta...

Tonight, our beloved Lady Statesmen basketball team is going head to head for the southern region NCAA Division II championship. As National champs for several years, this is not really a big surprise...they will do well tonight I'm sure and head to Kearny, Nebraska for another shot at being National champs.

So why the need for a tale, you may ask? Our school colors are Green and White. We are hosting the southern region tourney at our school so the administration decided to send out a memo today that asked everyone to wear WHITE to the game tonight...

It is March 17....Saint Patrick's Day....did I mention that our school colors are GREEN and white???

Go figure....

On the bottom of my page there has been an advertisement FOREVER that tells me I need to learn how to French Kiss...does anyone want to tell what I'm doing wrong? And better yet, how do they know I don't already know HOW to French Kiss??? If somebody wants to try me, I'm game!!
