Hi Carol. Well.....although there are a couple of different versions of the history of your name, the form Heri derives from: Carol from the French Caroline which is the feminine form of Charles from the latin Carolus which in turn stems from the Germanic Karl meaning man OR the Germanic Heri, meaning warrior. Although the word 'heri' is masculine in form, I thought it sounded much nicer and more feminine than Karl, so I went with it! Be curious no more! Cheers, Robbie. P.S. I hope you enjoy your freedom (and never mind the bollocks!).

Hi there Carol! I hope you don't mind but I've named you "Heri" meaning warrior. It is one of the suspected origins of your name. I have a HUGE passion for etymology and find it interesting that you say you feel right at home in the UK because I've never known of anyone from the USA using the words 'shite', 'knackered' and 'nowt'! Might I also suggest you add bugger and bollocks to your vocabulary! Cheers, Pippi.
