Place your hand on my heart,
And feel it beat for you,
And then look into my eyes,
I think you feel it too.
And then my heart begins to race,
Can you feel it beating through?
Every thing around me begins to fade,
And all I can see is you.
Faintly, a smile crosses your lips,
My knees begin to weak,
You run your hand through my hair,
And then graciously across my cheek.
I feel my chin tilt upwards,
Wow, you smell so good,
You cup my face in both your hands,
Just as I always dreamed you would.
Slowly the kisses come,
I don't think I can breathe,
I feel your body close,
And you kiss me so tenderly.
And then suddenly you pull away,
Is that fear upon your face?
Did I accidently do something wrong?
Is that what is the case?
New emotion comes forth,
One I can't explain,
And then suddenly I understand,
Your new emotion's pain.
I pull you back to me,
I'll make you understand,
The feelings that I have for you,
Are greater than I ever planned.
At first you don't give in,
Between us you keep the space,
But I know it won't take you long,
For you to move from your grounded place.
And slowly and surely you do,
And my mind begins to wonder,
Your kisses have become harder,
I can taste your thirsty hunger.
You nibble at my lips,
And I claw into the back of your shirt,
You push me against the brick wall,
I push you into the dirt.
One hand carresses mine,
The other gently on my back,
If passion was ever a problem,
It was a problem we both began to lack.
Once again, you push me away,
But this time not because of fear,
The moonlight gives me a shock,
On your face there is a tear.
I wipe away your misery,
And ask you what could possibly be wrong,
You look back into my eyes,
And you answer is so strong.
"I've searched all my life,
For someone who would be true,
And even after all this while,
I would've never know it was you.
But my heart is now content,
And my spirit is not as broken,
I've been afraid to say 'I love you,'
But your kiss is quite the token.
I suddenly realize the details of your face,
The truest honey color of your eyes,
And how your hair is so soft,
This is definitely a surprise.
And even though I've been caught off guard,
And you might not even feel the same,
No other girl could make me feel,
This feeling that is of fame.
I know this is not a movie,
And I know it's not a fable,
But when I feel you kiss my lips,
My heart becomes unstable..."
Before he goes to say another word,
A tear reaches my lips,
And I give him what he's always wanted,
And I feel his hand's pressure on my hips.
This kiss isn't like the others,
There is a feeling of something more,
Behind your lips I find the truth,
And I've never been so sure.
Finally destiny lead me here,
I've found one of it's charms,
"I love you," I say,
As you keep me safe in your arms.
"I've always loved you," you whisper quietly,
The sun is rising over a distant hill,
You put your forehead against mine,
"and I always will."
