the world has brought me down
twisted distant memories corrupt the sound
of a love so sweet and beautiful
that was made for me by God
a warm embrace of passion stole my heart
Deceived confused and self absorbed
i was caught up in something more
a dark beautiful stranger knocking at my door
and soon there after i lost the love i had
because the lord didnt tell me the devil sent

one the devil gave me and one he took away

a smile lit so bright the earth was encompassed by day
was soon made dark by the saddness that came
with the smile lost a dim existance set in
and dark clouds swept across the sky
the rain poured down one can not tell
where the rain ends and the tears begin
for in that day which became night
the living became the dead
the sweet smile and the loving embrace
of a young sweet angel
became deaths fist that clenched her soul
and soon she was lost
what is real what is not is now unknown
and love and hate the same
for in her heart and in her soul no other can remain
for everytime she opens herself to a man
her heart is ripped out and served back in her hand

a wimpering voice is heard
and without joy in her life
silenced her voice will become

for what he was or what he could be she will not know

I feel sick inside, like my body is rotting within
I feel empty, I could shatter at a flick to my chest
I do not know what I live for my world is skewed
Twisted and tangled in a sick obsession.
I understand what has happened and accept its truth
But can not comprehend my separation from you
Its over and done but just seems to be starting
were distant; far yet your presence still lingers
