The Thumb of the Panda
Why I climb trees and eat Bamboo

One day, in the great forest of China, I was chasing a little rodent for dinner.. But, big and clumsy, I was unable to catch my prey and eat my dinner as was commen. I had become so skinny for want of food and needed to fix my hunger.
So I decided to try something new, and I start knawing on some shoots of Bamboo that were all around. I seemed to notice, but never with any regard to survival, that Bamboo was plentiful and everywhere I traveled to. The one problem I found with this new form of sustinence was that I was unable to hold it well enough to eat it. Climbing to the top of the highest tree to look out in hopes of discovery some new plant that would sustain me without difficulty, but again, big and clumsy me fell....and I split my paw, cutting one 'finger' into two,,,and I with this new "thumb" I was able to hold and eat all the bamboo I desired. I am now very happy and spend 14 hours of my day eating and another 10 sleeping...you may be asking when do I shit and pee...and get it on with my other Panda buddies..? WELL..i DONT because I have a thumb and bamboo, which is why I am a dying race..If I had just caught the damn rodent, then I wouldnt need to eat so much for so long, and I would prosper, like the Chinese themselveS!!!
