I think we should have two Halloweens and skip Christmas. I've maintained this opinion for years now. Last Christmas my tree was decorated with halloween lights, pumpkins and skeletons, Adorned with spiderwebs, nightmare before christmas ornaments, orange and black garland, and a ton of spiders... Presents wrapped in Halloween gift bags... I don't think God will mind at all. Christmas has been made so commercial, People spend months worrying about what to get friends and family for this occasion and then they spend the rest of the year paying for it.... People who can't afford it or who find themselves alone at Christmas sometimes commit suicide. The two weeks of drinking @ Holliday Parties in winter weather conditions result in unnecessary deaths due to car accidents and housefires... They've taken the religious aspects of Christmas out of the Public school system anyway, nevermind Sunday and Holliday shopping has taken the family out of the home. Commercialism is Killing our Family values ... Halloween is less stressful ... We don't need to buy the latest video game system, we get to be creative and dress up in fun costumes instead of expensive dresses, and don't forget the candy... Although this year we didn't trick or treat because you never know what some people have done to the candy ...weather it's tampered with in the manufacturing plant or in someones home... we went to a Halloween Party with a haunted house, apple cider, hotdogs, creepy games, contests and treats... ha ha... Kids had a great time...
