You know what I hate?

People swooping in during the last 10 or 20 seconds of an auction and stealing my win away.

Yes, that's the nature of an auction...but I have to keep refreshing the page to keep track, and that doesn't always happen quickly.

I wish the auctions here had a way to monitor them in real time, rather than refreshing...or, at the least, that it would tell me how many seconds are left, instead of just saying "0 minutes left" for a whole minute.

*sigh*

I really wanted that information on how amazing the platypus really is...

I'm prone to random nosebleeds.

Last night, however, was scary as Hell.

I was sitting here at the computer, and my nose started gushing even more than usual. It didn't slow down for twenty minutes.

The inside of my nose still feels very weak, 14 or 15 hours later.

I wish I knew how to prevent this.

You know, I only work a few hours Tuesday nights. So it was a bit weird to get home last night and find I'd been bought multiple times since I left for work. o_O

Ugh. I hate being sick.

I mean, seriously, all I did was get so wrapped up in a project for several days that I forgot about silly, minor things like eating and sleeping. Why should my body punish me for that?

Ah, the pains of being a workaholic. :-D
