Her mouth is open with the taste
Of a tiny simple rosebud
Smashed with haste
It bleeds upon the ground
With juice of red.

Her hair has curled with
The moisture of the fright
He lurks and drones behind her ears
She laughs at all and hides in spite
And knows that she will be his own tonight.

You remind me of somebody I know
A welcome face
from a distant show.
Something that was out of grasp
I didn't pursue...
Although I know it showed
That I probably wanted to.

Dew drops on your lips
Sparkling in the dark,
Remind me of a pain;

Heat pounding on my ears

Deafening the need...
But there always was a spark.

There's a distance in your eyes
And I know I can't quite reach.

A flick of the wrist and
The swish of a tongue.
Words of resent, meant
Originally to compliment
But it was done.

The night swiftly comes now,
Tears on my pillow.
Eerily darkness
Encompasses the heart.
But why aren’t the shouts heard?

A roar of wetness
A white foamy wave
Smiling red lips,
Not meant for a cage.
Perhaps there were good intentions after all.

A swallowed, strangled sound
A trudge-a-long fate.
Strange to my eyes
And for all, it’s too late.
All that is left are the crumbs.

I bid on the auction, so I should theoretically be okay, but just in case....I have hired this squirrel for the time being.
