Religion is one of those completely taboo topics that I like.

People tend to not like what I have to say about religion, but only because it takes them out of their comfort zone. Each person tends to discount other people because they may believe something different. I have to deal with many people, daily, attempting to convert my spirituality into their religion. The problem is, that with the view that many have on religion, they refuse to learn about other religions. How can they judge what they do not know? That is all I want. I want people to not judge things that they have no knowledge of. I want past teachers to not make fun of religions not their own. One of my most hated experiences with this was when my teacher in high school was teaching the religion section. He made fun of one of the most sacred arts of Hinduism and Buddhism: meditation. I meditate, and I did not appreciate him making a mockery of it. I am not saying that I am right and everyone else is wrong. I am saying that people should just be more open to all different religious views and beliefs, for in the end, who knows who is right?
